How we manufacture Acotec Hollow Panels
Concrete Mixing
Concrete is separated into batches and mixed at an automatic station with cement and water. Then each batch is transferred to the conveyors and the hoppers of the Acotec Hollow precast production line.
Extrusion
The concrete is filled in thin base molds to support the panel during the precuring time. Base molds are automatically transferred to the extruder which compacts the concrete with extrusions crews against the packing bar and sidewalls.
Cutting
Products are cut according to the base’s mold length using a circular saw. The product and the supporting plate are then pulled over the stacker.
Trimming
The fresh product is trimmed by the circular saw as and when necessary during the production process.
Stacking
Cut products are arranged on precuring stacks which are supported by steel pallets.
Precuring
The stacks are transported to the precuring storage and kept in temperatures above 10oC for 15 to 24 hours.
Restacking
Products are separated from the base molds and restacked to prepare them for delivery. Stacks are kept in storage for at least 14 days before they are transported to a construction site.
We keep sustainability at the heart of our process
On-site construction usually requires heavy machinery that consumes more energy and produces harmful emissions. By opting for offsite construction methods and energy-efficient equipment, we strive to create a difference in the construction industry.
